Just browse through my homepage to have a better understanding why I am always so enthusiastic when talking about Corsica, my second home which my heart has adopted immediately, it was real love on the first sight. This Mediterreanean Island is rich of culture and sites of stunning natural beauty: mountains, the rocky Western coast of the island with it’s yellow and red cliffs, turqoise water and beautiful beaches, pictoresque small villages and two major towns, Ajaccio, the capital of the island with some 65’000 inhabitants on the Western coast and Bastia with some 20’000 inhabitants on the Eastern coast. My village is located in the Northwestern part of the island, a region called Balagne (the “Garden of Corsica”) and it is considered to be one of the most beautiful places of the island (and the world!). see also »
